Opening Sunday

Join us as we kick off the program year with a Backpack Blessing and a special musician.

As summer ends and school begins, we’ll be blessing backpacks on Opening Sunday. Bring your backpack and we’ll bless all of the new learning, growing, and friendships they represent during the Time with Children.

We’re honored to welcome Spencer LaJoye as a guest musician for our worship service on Sunday, September 13th at 10am. Spencer (they/them) is a gifted and heartfelt singer-songwriter, and the composer of “Plowshare Prayer,” one of our favorite anthems. They’ll be sharing a handful of original songs in that morning’s service. We hope you can join us for a special musical offering.
