Seattle Pride Parade
June 28 @ 11:00 am – 3:30 pm
Join us at the Seattle Pride Parade! A delegation from our church will join many other UCC churches and march in the parade after Sunday Worship Service. Questions? Contact welcome@fccbellevue.org.
đJoin other congregants and friends on Sunday, June 28, in the 2026 Seattle Pride Parade, showing support for LGBTQIA+ community and marching for joy, justice, and belonging. The theme this year is âLOUDERâ so letâs be a loud and proud voice of Christian welcome and celebration within the queer community. All are welcome to attend! UCUCC is sponsoring a parade slot on behalf of the Pacific Northwest Conference UCC Seattle-area churches.
FCCB Specific Travel Details:
We are near the back of the parade, so there should be plenty of time to attend Sunday morning worship and then make your way downtown. There should even be time to grab lunch after service and before we meet at the church.
We will gather back at the church at 12:45 to make our way to the East Main light rail station. We will plan on taking the light rail to Pioneer Square and then joining the rest of the conference at our call time between 1:15 â 2:00 pm. We will exit at 3rd Ave and Jefferson, walk east (up the hill / away from the water) one block, and then take a left and look for our group.
Our âpositionâ is 10.201. From our gathering place, the full parade route is 22 blocks.
At the end of the parade, walk back along the parade route to the Westlake station, and light rail back to the church.
How to prepare: Wear comfortable shoes if you are walking, or consider a wheelchair, walker, or other mobility aid if that would help you. Be prepared to wait (weâre asked to gather by 2:00 pm, but itâs difficult to know the timing â there could be a significant delay in when we get started). You may want to consider a camping chair or stool, and/or a wagon to transport gear along the parade route. Bring sunscreen, snacks, and water to stay hydrated. Bring flags, signs, rainbow or bright clothing, and a festive spirit! Signs should be legible from 50 feet away. Churches are welcome to bring your church banner.
General Travel Info:
Light Rail: Take the 1 or 2 line to the Pioneer Square station, and exit at 3rd Ave and Jefferson. Walk east (up the hill / away from the water) one block and then take a left and look for our group. At the end of the parade, walk back along the parade route to the Westlake station.
Driving: due to World Cup gridlock and closures on 4th Avenue, driving is highly discouraged. Seattle Center garages near the parade finish line will be using event pricing and involve delays due to dense pedestrian traffic. You can reserve parking spaces in advance using SpotHero. Consider driving to a park-and-ride lot near a light rail station farther from downtown.
Here is a map of the parade route with first aid stations marked.
We encourage all participants to watch this safety video.
Accessibility note: Unfortunately we do not have a vehicle in this year’s parade. If you have significant mobility issues, please connect with others within your congregation and create an accessibility plan. Together, we can support each other, come up with creative solutions, and make it possible for everyone to take part.
